All other cell phone plans suck compared to this one. Sure, sprint’s selection of phones might not be as great as…the iphone (you knew it was coming), but you sure as hell cant beat the price of this awesome plan. Read on to find out!
I remember that my dad had to basically prepare for the amount of calls and waiting time he would have to pass just being on hold with sprint’s customer service. i read on all these forums and websites that its pretty much impossible to port your current plan and number into SERO. it basically couldnt be done as long as you were in a contract with sprint. i dunno what my dad did, but honestly, im SUPER happy he got the plans for my mom and i. i ended up getting the SERO 500 plan and for my mom, the SERO 1250 plan.
for those of you who are wondering what SERO is, its referred to as the Sprint Employee Referral Offer. its only available to sprint employees and very close friends of them. you had to have the employeee’s email address and be prepared to be in a 2 year contract. the best part is that includes all these extras that would usually increase the price of your plan.
SERO includes:
Unlimited Mobile to Mobile (In network only, Sprint to Sprint, Sprint to Nextel, Nextel to Sprint, Nextel to Nextel)
Unlimited Sprint Picture Mail
Unlimited Roaming
Unlimited Nights & Weekends (nights starting at 6PM or 7PM, depending on your contract)
Unlimited Ready-Link
Unlimited Power Vision (EV-DO/Internet)
Unlimited SMS (texting)
and either 500, 1250, or unlimited anytime minutes depending on which plan you get.
in addition to a one-time HUGE discount off any phone
as you probably might have guessed, people always find ways to get additional perks from sprint, even when they are on this heavily discounted and awesome plan, but of course, i definitely am one of those people.
the extra perks that i get are:
FIMF – first incoming minute free
Sprint to Home – unlimited calling to/from any 3 numbers you want (same thing as t-mobiles myfavs)
5PM nights – not 9PM, not 7PM, not 6PM, but 5 freaking PM.
150 bonus anytime minutes – so now i have a total of 650 anytime minutes, up from 500.
PAM (Phone as Modem) – i can tether my phone to my laptop whenever/wherever i want.
Unlimited International Calling – so whenever i go abroad to lets say, china, i can call from there for free! mind you, there has to be a roaming network because sprint is CDMA…
recently, i’ve gotten unlimited minutes added as a perk. what does that mean? wow really are you serious? i can call anyone at anytime for free.
the best part? i get all that for less than $30 a month.
but the worst part? SERO is gone now, and now are replaced with sprints simply everything plans. $60, $80, and $100 for everything sprint has to offer. overall, i think thats a great deal for anyone who wants the best of the best at a really cheap price. Still, you can’t beat $30 for unlimited everything. Oh well, you can’t have everything in life. Now go along and scream at your sprint CSR, i’m sure they’ll be waiting for your calls from hell.

OMG. this is so tempting…
